US DHHS Guidelines with Australian Commentary

Introduction: Australian Commentary to the DHHS Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in Pediatric HIV Infection

The Australian Commentary to the DHHS Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in Pediatric HIV Infection has been prepared by the ASHM HIV Paediatric Guidelines Committee along with external contributors (see: Contributors).

The US DHHS has agreed to this adoption and adaptation process. The ASHM HIV Paediatric Guidelines Committee provides the commentary and reviews the guidelines on a regular basis. It is the intention of the sub-committee to review the guidelines after every major revision of the US DHHS guidelines, as well as more frequently in the event that a particular issue comes to the notice of the committee which requires more immediate action (such as the contraindication of prescription of a certain drug in a particular condition).
